EGPR 2006

The course sponsor was a Slovenian company NIKO Zelezniki, a manufacturer of lever arch mechanisms for files, which include document binders, slide bars and metal rods for hanging files and maps. The project task was to develop and prototype concepts for a device, which should be able to transport the goods of mass in the range 150-300kg by climbing up and down the stairs. The device itself should fit into a personal car booth. The mass of individual parts should not exceed 15kg and an overall mass of the device should not exceed 30kg.  There were 48 students from 5 partner Universities participating in the course that started on 13 February 2006. It finished with a closing workshop in Ljubljana between 5th June and 8th June 2006.
