In 2009 the EGPR was hosted by TU Delft and the Dutch company UMC Utrecht. The design task was to develop a device which would help patients and physicians with the rehabilitation therapy. In this year the students from Budapest university of Technology and Economics joined EGPR for the first time. The student teams built 4 different prototypes and presented them at the final workshop in the Netherlands in June 2009.
